1960’s Vogue ‘Special Design’ 6768 wedding and bridesmaid dress pattern.

This pattern is just adorable. It is size 16 bust 36 but please see the photo with the sizing table due to modern/vintage differences. I have checked that all 4 pages of the instructions are included as well as all 15 pattern pieces. This is a hugely versatile pattern as it has different views for all 4 dresses as well as the bows and veil and the gorgeous little pill box hat (think Jackie Kennedy!) This pattern is described as ‘scientifically designed’ and was supplied from the manufacturer ready cut and with perforations rather than printed markings on the pieces (see photo of pattern piece 14 as an example) As you can see the pattern packet has a tear and is not 100 % perfect but not much from the 1960’s is. This pattern was bought from the department store George Henry Lee in Liverpool in the 1960’s for 7 shillings and six pence and even includes a handwritten note of the fabric and sewing notions required. It is just adorable and is a very rare pattern. This would be perfect for any kind of vintage dressmaking not just bridal.
