Delicate fine porcelain antique jar with lid stamped "Leonard, Vienna, Austria". This dates the jar in the late 19th century, sometime prior to 1898.
There are no cracks, chips, or crazing on this glorious piece. Such a feminine piece, I hate to let it leave the house.
Hand painted. 24K gold painted trim.
Freshly cleaned with extreme care.

P.H. Leonard, Vienna, Austria. Leonard was a New York importer well known for importing high quality Bohemian, Austrian and French porcelain during the last quarter of the 19th century. Please see the last photo which is a newspaper clipping about his business. He was well known for using Limoges porcelain. Just a little history to go with this magnificent find. I think this is the only one of its kind on the open market.
