Antique vintage Crown Devon Fieldings blushware lidded trinket dish.

Antique vintage Crown Devon Fieldings blushware trinket dish. It is a small, lidded dish with a pale, blush-coloured background adorned with floral and gilt details.  It has a letter stamp on the underside of the dish stating "SOOT", as seen in the photograph. Research states that this mark on Crown Devon pottery refers to the maker's initials, which was used on pieces before 1912.  In used but in very good condition, with normal wear and tear commensurate with its age. Its original use was as a trinket for jewellery on a dressing table, but can be used for table service condiments as well. It measures roughly 7 cm by 6 cm.
