A rare Revival wool handmade rug in the manner of Christopher Dresser Hera made for one of the only few remaining British quensentric fashion store Liberty of London. Measuring 190 x 120 cm ( 6.3 x 3.9 ft ), Hera features Liberty's Iconic Peacock motif initiated from their Fabric archive of the mid 1890's. In this design attention to details have been made by using soft wool in cut pile technique. The rug has all the attributes in Arts and Crafts movements and can furnish any room contemporary or traditional. It has been professionally steamed cleaned and both original fringes well preserved.
