This LP is of rare value in that is was one of very few Capitol releases of SKAO-2939 Best of Cannonball Adderley with the striking Capital 'starline' RED STAR LABEL. (not to be confused with the starline red target label' note many exist with Capitol rainbow label.
I spent literally hours searching the internet for any Capitol LP's for sale with this RED STAR label to no avail.
I did find a Capitol sight which defined the entire 13 versions of the 'STARLINE LP' labels which began in 1960.
This is what I found for the label on this LP (see photo's), quote "This is SL 69 version-One of the most attractive designs for the STARLINE editions. This SL 69 RED STAR label was used in limited pressing of various LP's from 1969 until Nov. 1972".
This would be a must for a Capitol records collector since I doubt there are many of these records available in the VG+ condition of this LP.
