Gorgeous vintage (50+ years) sari fabric from Karachi Silk Mills Never used

This was given to me as a wedding present from my office manager in 1971. Absolutely gorgeous but never had the chance to wear it! The colour is a soft lilacy pink, quite difficult to get in photos and it is heavily embellished in gold thread with a wide band at the bottom and a narrow one at the top. I noticed a random gold thread and what seems to be a signature at the bottom. Don’t know if that is normal. 5 and a quarter metres long and 1metre 18 centimetres wide. I would love this to be worn, it deserves to be seen. Having been folded up for 53 years it needs steaming! ☺️ It comes in its original bag.
