This book fully introduces the diverse charms of the Kisuki Line, which continues to fascinate railway fans as the "holy land of single-car trains" and with JR West Japan's unique "three-stage switchback" operation.

The special feature at the end of the book includes a record of the "Oku Izumo Orochi-go Last Run," which ended its service in 2023 with much regret, the "History of the Kisuki Line" compiled from the unique perspective of the [Succession] series, and an recommended guide to sightseeing along the line with the cooperation of the "Ametuchi" crew and local guides.
