The American costume jewellery giant Coro used the "Jewelcraft" brand name for items manufactured and sold specifically in the U.K.. This was done to avoid a legal dispute with the British firm Ciro, whose name was considered too similar to "Coro". Era: Jewelcraft pieces were primarily manufactured in the U.K. from the 1920s through the 1950s, with a highly productive period in the mid-20th century. This style of necklace is consistent with the ornate, openwork designs popular during this time. Great vintage condition.
