Sculptural and rare, high quality, quartz coated octahedron diamond fluorite from Orange River in Riemvasmaak, South Africa. These fully natural and unique South African fluorites are world class for gorgeous color and form, and this specimen is an ideal example. The raw octahedral, diamond shaped crystals have a bright mint green hue and are in an enjoined chain cluster. The fluorite is coated in crystalline terminated quartz, with iron inclusions that produce the golden color. The fluorite are highly UV fluorescent and glow brightly under UV lighting. The specimen also looks exquisite when backlit, giving off a translucent green glow! A juicy beauty with glassy fluorite luster and defined crystals.
