The Doors - Strange Days (1st Press, Stereo, Pitman Press, USA, 1967)

We’re offering the very first US stereo press of “Strange Days” by The Doors. This LP was released in October 1967 by Elektra Records on Golden Label. This is a Pitman pressing, a very strong and natural sounding pressing, which is placed next to Monarch version by the audiophile crowd. This record is sold with original printed inner sleeve feat. a photo of the band on one side, and lyrics on the other one. Visual condition of the record is VG+ or EX (side A has one long, superficial scratch and a few hairlines; side B has one long, superficial scratch, two faint ones and a long mark on B3). Condition of the cover is VG (it’s worn and has a ringwear, there’s a writing in pen in the bottom right corner at the back, and corners are frayed). There’s also a yellow sticker on the label of side A. It’s been carefully play-tested due to its rarity, and we’re happy to report that 99% of its visual flaws are not audible. There are 3 soft pops in total on side A, and side B is even cleaner with very infrequent surface noise in quiet moments. Overall, audio is of high quality and will satisfy most of vinyl lovers. !!!Disclaimer!!! Our records and CDs are visually graded, if not stated otherwise!
