Beautiful, dressed up on a cold winter's evening, but equally lovely on a barmy spring day Alpaca wool has excellent insulation propeties, owing to the hollow fibres, holding air pockets that make the wool such a good insulator These air pockets also make it extremely lightweight to wear and give it outstanding breathability in summertime. Not as itchy as some sheep wools and up to three times warmer and it has hypoallergenic properties with skin allergies not such a problem as alpaca wool contains no lanolin.
