Coventry Ware was made in Barberton, Ohio, starting about 1932 by Carrie Daum. The first products were plaster, but by the 1940s, the business was making pottery figurines, flower holders and useful accessories for the table. Coventry was out of business by the 1960s.
This Coventry vintage ware USA figurine displays an elegant couple dressed in colonial clothing of sage green, yellow and peach. This piece is in lovely vintage condition.
There is some minor wear to the gold paint trim at the bottom and crazing (underneath magnification) indicative of its vintage (please see photo), but there are no chips or cracks.
The figurine measures approximately 6-1/4" tall x approximately 4-3/4" wide.
