Vintage French Patriotic Postcard from the First World War. Titled "Notre Glorieux 75" (Our Glorious 75), the imagery highlights the Canon de 75 modèle 1897, which was widely regarded as the first modern artillery piece and a source of immense national pride for the French.  The postcard sent from Limoges, France, dated May 20, 1915. It is addressed to Monsieur Supichon Guillaume, who was part of the 117th Infantry Regiment, 1st Company, 2nd Section, with postal sector 1269, during World War I. Translation on the left: Good affectionate kisses from a cousin, Marie Supichon. Translation on the right: Monsieur Supichon Guillaume To the 117th Infantry Regiment 1st Company 2nd Section Postal Sector 1269. Condition is Good but has age related wear mostly to the corners which is clearly seen in the photos. Please inspect the photos as they are part of the description.
