Up for sale is a vintage hand crafted Cutty Sark ship model. It measures 17"(W) x 12.5"(H) x 3.5"(D). Cutty Sark is the world’s only surviving extreme clipper. Clipper ships are marked by three design characteristics - a long, narrow hull, a sharp bow which cuts through the waves rather riding atop - and three raking masts. Cutty Sark was launched on 22 November 1869 in Dumbarton, Scotland. Cutty Sark represents the pinnacle of clipper ship design and was one of the fastest ships of its day. Overall great conditions. No damage. Some age related wears as pictured. Must have for boat model collectors and look great in any room!
