"Shaka Hassō Yamato (Bunko)" - A long series of illustrated books consisting of 58 volumes and 232 books. Published from 1845 (Kōka 2) to 1871 (Meiji 4).

Mantei Ōga (c. 1819 (Bunsei 2) - August 30, 1890 (Meiji 23)) was a gesaku writer who was active from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era. His family name was Hattori. His given name was Kōzaburō (also Chōzaburō). His other pen name was Shunsōsai.

Utagawa Kunisada (May 19, 1786 (Tenmei 6) - January 12, 1865 (Genji 1)) was a ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period. Later known as the third generation Utagawa Toyokuni.
