Wildtronics Mini Accessory Bar Kit

The Mini Accessory Bar is a lightweight bar that attaches to the Wildtronics Parabolic Microphone's accessory mount located on the handle. Adding less than 2 oz (56gm) to your microphone, this bar allows you to easily install a small, hand-held recorder directly to the microphone. The recorder is therefore available for quick, easy one-handed use. You can now deploy instantly and improve your equipment portability too. The bar is machined from solid black nylon, and threaded to accept the included thumb screws, which are semi-captive so you won't lose them. No tools are needed. A 2x3-inch mounting pad is included that allows mounting your recorder in multiple configurations and offsets. The pad also allows you to mount recorders without a tripod mount, using the included 6-inch piece of self-locking strip. The self-locking strip is secure and quiet, unlike Velcro hook and loop. The following 1/4-20 thumbscrews are included: a 1-inch to attach the Mini-bar to the handle, a 7/8-inch to mount the mounting pad or your recorder directly to the bar (if it has a tripod mount), and a 1/2-inch to offset mount your recorder to the mounting pad. We also include a mini 1-foot long, 3.5mm cable which is perfect for connecting the Wildtronics Mic to the 3.5mm mic or line input of your recorder. You could also use XLR if you want, but they are bulky. This is the popular option for our Amplified models, using our gain knob and the amplified line output will convert your low-cost hand-held recorder into an easy to use, high performance recording system.
